1. Service Description
Daily Briefing provides automated daily calendar briefings delivered via email. The service:
- Accesses your Google Calendar (read-only, calendars you select)
- Analyzes your schedule for conflicts, out-of-office events, and priorities
- Generates personalized HTML email briefings
- Delivers briefings at your chosen time, 7 days a week
2. Account & Subscription
Free Trial
- New users receive a 7-day free trial
- No payment information required during trial
- Trial converts to paid subscription if you add payment details
- If no payment is added, the service stops after 7 days
Paid Subscription
- Monthly: $5/month, billed monthly
- Annual: $50/year, billed annually (save $10)
- Cancel anytime — no refunds for partial periods
- Access continues until the end of your billing period after cancellation
3. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information (name, email, timezone)
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Use the service only for personal or business calendar management
- Not abuse the service (e.g., creating multiple trial accounts)
4. Calendar Access & Permissions
- You grant us read-only access to calendars you select
- We cannot create, edit, or delete events
- You can revoke access or change selected calendars at any time
- Revoking access will stop briefing delivery until you reconnect
5. Service Availability
- We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Briefings are typically delivered within 1-3 minutes of your chosen time
- We may perform maintenance with advance notice when possible
- Delivery failures due to Google API issues or email provider problems are outside our control
6. Limitations & Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Missed briefings due to technical failures
- Errors in conflict detection or schedule analysis
- Third-party service outages (Google, Nango, email providers)
- Loss of business or opportunities due to missed briefings
7. Intellectual Property
- The Daily Briefing service, design, and branding are our property
- Your calendar data remains yours — we claim no ownership
- Generated briefings are provided to you for personal use
8. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.
9. Payment & Billing
- Payments processed securely via Stripe
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
- Failed payments result in a 3-day grace period before service suspension
- No refunds for partial months or unused days
10. Cancellation & Termination
You Can Cancel:
- At any time from your account dashboard
- Service continues until end of billing period
- No refund for remaining days
We May Terminate:
- For violation of these Terms
- For abusive behavior (spam, creating multiple trials, etc.)
- For prolonged non-payment
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Changes to Pricing
- Existing customers are grandfathered at their current rate
- Price changes apply only to new customers or upon renewal after notice
- We will give 30 days notice of price increases
13. Dispute Resolution
- Contact us first to resolve any issues
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled via binding arbitration
